Background

I grew up on Auckland’s North Shore and have been a keen sportswoman while at school and university and hold bachelor’s degrees from both Massey University and Auckland University of Technology. 

While academic qualifications are important, I have found that essential factors for tutoring are encouragement, patience and kindness.

I currently tutor maths to a range of students privately from primary school to year 10 (including homeschooling). My earlier career included tutoring for recognised learning organisations, contributing to my expertise and experience.

My approach to tutoring focuses on identifying each student’s learning style and developing customised study plans that cater to their specific needs. Just as importantly, I provide a positive learning environment for students where they have the support and guidance they need to gain confidence and thrive!
